Howl’s Moving Castle S01

The story is about a young girl named Sophie who lives with her stepmother and two younger sisters after her father's death. Her stepmother is unable to care for the girls, so she finds work for the younger sisters and asks Sophie to help her in her father's hat shop. However, a sorcerer casts a spell on Sophie, turning her into an old woman, and she leaves the city in fear of being seen as an old woman. Sophie arrives near a road and decides to spend the night in a nearby castle, unaware that it is the famous moving castle belonging to the notorious sorcerer Howl. The sorcerer kidnaps young girls and takes control of their hearts. As an old woman, Sophie enters the castle as a servant and meets Calcifer, a fire demon, who has been cursed by Howl and is a prisoner. The two form an alliance to uncover the truth behind the curse and break it.
